Mozilla Firefox is new, open source internet browser which offers faster, secure and customizable browsing experience. Firefox 25 offers faster browsing experience to users. New Firefox browser reloaded with fast start-up times, rapid graphics rendering, reduce page load time and specialized in full performance enhancements. It uses JagerMonkey, improved Java script engine which helps to run apps, videos, games etc run without any disturbances. These engines additional provide power to them and running things smoothly on it. Hardware acceleration of Firefox 25 on different operating systems such as Windows 8, windows 7, windows Vista, Windows XP and Mac OS X. These accelerators also helps very much, while watching videos or playing games.

Keep away from Threats

Mozilla Firefox is also good in security features like private browsing, Do not track, Instant Web ID and Password manager. These settings are helps to your PC to keep away from threats. Let’s see how to setup the security features.
  1. Click on the orange “Firefox” Button on the Top left corner of your Mozilla Firefox.
  2. From the menu, select “options”. Then we get pop-up Dialogue box.
  3. From this click on the “Security” which is show below figure.


From this box, Tick on options, “Warn me when sites try to install add-ons, block reported attack sites and block reported web forgeries” which is also show in figure below. Web forgeries are normally considered as phishing, which mislead you and stole your personal information’s.

Private Browsing settings

Private browsing let you to browse through internet without saving any information about sites which you are previously surfed. It do not save information’s like visited pages, form and search bar entries, passwords, download list, cookies and cached web content. Note: Private browsing doesn’t mean that protection from threats. Sites or service provider can still track your browsing details. Two options available for Private Browsing.
  1. You can start private browsing just by clicking Firefox button and select “New Private Window”. Or you can open a unique link in private windows just by “right click mouse button” on that link and from the menu select “open link in New Private window”.
  2. Set your Browser always for private browsing from the settings.
For that, Click on Firefox button --> Options --> Select Privacy -->Set your settings Tick the “Tell websites I do not want to be tracked” option and also select the “Never remember history” from history option. Images are shown below.

How to setup Firefox Sync ?

Firefox sync feature lets you to access browsing history, bookmarks, passwords and tabs across your devices which are connected to your Firefox sync account.
  1. Select the “Firefox Button” and click on “Options”.
  2. Select “Sync” option and click on the “Firefox sync setup”.
  3. From that click on “Create New Account” button and provide details such as Email address enter your password, server, and complete CAPTCHA and agree the terms and conditions and privacy policy.
  4. Then you will see “Setup complete” and close the box.
